Rhymes, Articles, Poetry, Pictures, Short Stories and Sketches. Word is currently out for contributions and the release will take place early in January 2007.
My Hip Hop is African and Proud
In 1995, after touring libraries throughout Cape Town, Emile became aware that youth needed more
information about hip hop and they all asked the same question. What is Hip Hop? This sparked the
creation of a booklet that has since sold more than 500 copies. In 2004, Emile wrote the book, My
Hip Hop is African and Proud, which deals with identity and hip hop as a positive force in communities
around the world.
